Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to DigCompSci: Journal of Digital Computer Science and Informatics undergo a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other to ensure an unbiased assessment.
Review Process Stages:

Initial Screening by Editor:
The editor evaluates the manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, checks for completeness, and performs a plagiarism check. -
Assignment to Reviewers:
If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is assigned to two reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. -
Peer Review:
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, scientific contribution, methodology, clarity, and relevance. The possible outcomes are:-
Accepted without revision

Revision by Authors:
Authors are requested to revise the manuscript according to the reviewers' comments within a specified timeframe. -
Final Decision:
The final decision is made by the editor based on reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript. This decision is final. -
Proofreading and Publication:
Accepted manuscripts undergo final editing (proofreading) before being published.
The typical review process takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of reviewers and the timeliness of the authors’ revisions.
